Blow dryer, an essential product for day to day life. Wasting time over letting your hair dry is not an option. Going out with wet hair is also a no go given that not only does it look unprofessional but also given how much polluted the city life it, it would absolutely damage our hair. So, the question then arises how much should we spend on trying to get the most out of our Blowdryers.
Here are a few main key features to look take into consideration while deciding if you should get the fancy 500 dollars Blow dryer or the one that costs 50 dollars.
1. Heat control
You will easily notice the difference between the heat levels of an expensive blow dryer and a cheap one. Most expensive Blow dryers have more options to set the heat level like low, medium, high and maximum heat. This helps to keep the damage to your hair minimum. They also help adjust the level of moisture in hair.
Where else, a cheap blow dryer, even though has heat control, don’t have a wide range of options to choose from while setting the heat level.
Almost all high-end blow dryers will take less time to dry your hair completely compared to a low-end blow dryer.
Most low-end blow dryers take about 13mins on average to completely dry your hair where else an expensive BLOW DRYER takes about 8mins on average. Of course, this value might change depending on the length and volume of your hair.
However, if you have a few minutes to spare, a low-end blow dryer will still get the job done.
3. Volume and texture
This is probably a feature which makes the biggest difference between a high-end BLOW DRYER and a low-end blow dryer. Almost all expensive blow dryers provide a much smoother texture and fuller volume to your hair.
Low-end blow dryers leave a rough finish compared to high-end blow dryers. Low-end blow dryers either leave a very moist or very dry texture after use.
A good blow dryer will be
- Easy to hold
- Easily chargeable
Almost all expensive blow dryers are lighter in weight and easier to hold in comparison to lower-priced Blowdryers. However, you are less likely to notice any significant change when it comes to charging.
Most expensive blow dryers come with attachments for getting a curly hair look or a straight hair look. These will make your daily hair styling schedule easier and faster. Even though lower-end blow dryers also have attachments for straightening and curling hair, you will notice that the hair looks a bit wavy even after straightened and the curls have comparatively less texture to them.
Thus, in the end, it is up to you to decide which features you want to priorities according to your daily schedule. If you are looking to just dry your hair and texture or smoothness and have an extra few minutes to spare for your hair, a regular blow dryer will do the job.
But if you want a completely flawless hairdo every day, an expensive blow dryer is definitely worth it.
