Frizzy hair- a common problem during the monsoon. No matter how much soothing this season might be, it brings tons of hair problems with it. And ladies! we all know the trouble it causes to our hair and scalp! Isn’t it? The gloomy humid weather dries out the internal moisture of our scalp and hair, which causes our hair to be frizzy, unmanageable and complex with dull looking locks. And the worst nightmare among these is undoubtedly FRIZZY HAIR!

Wondering how to manage frizzy hair? Today, I am going to share some easy fixes to prevent and manage frizzes, which you can consider following every year, especially during the monsoon season.

Improved Hair Dryer

Hair dryers are a daily equipment for us. And during monsoon, it becomes inevitable because the hair does not dry naturally within a short time. In this case, you need to use a hair-dryer with a built-in ionic feature. This feature tames the frizzy hair. You can also try hair dryers with infrared heat and it makes your hair frizz-free noticeably.

Hot oil treatment

Mix equal amount of coconut oil and olive oil with 1/4th part vitamin E oil. Slightly warm the mixture in a stove. Remember not to put it in the microwave, since this might break the protein molecules. Massage the mixture into your hair and scalp and leave it for at least 45minutes. You can also wrap your hair in a warm towel to get better results. Afterward, wash it off with lukewarm water. Dry your hair with a hair-dryer after that.

Follow this procedure at least twice a week

Tip: Adding drops of almond oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil can work wonders! These essential oils lock moisture in your hair.

For this hair mask, you will need 1 ripe banana, 2 teaspoons honey and 1/3rd olive oil/coconut oil/almond oil. Mash the banana and make a smooth paste. Mix all the ingredients together and apply it to the hair. Keep the mask for 30minutes and rinse off by washing with a mild shampoo.

Do this at least once a week to get frizz-free hair throughout the season.

Mayonnaise + egg hair mask

For dry hair, eggs work like magic! You will need 1-2 eggs, 1/4th cup mayonnaise, 1/3rd cup almond oil. Mix all the ingredients together and make a fine paste. Apply it on the hair and cover with a shower cap. Let it stay for half an hour and wash it off. Don’t forget to follow up with a conditioner and dry your hair with a hairdryer without rubbing it with a rough towel.

Apply this mask two times a week.

Beer remedy

Did that shock you? Well, I am not joking. Beer is an excellent remedy to treat dry and frizzy hair. Beer can help your hair look lustrous and hydrated due to the presence of a variety of beneficial acids and enzymes. It restores the moisture of hair and nourishes it. You just need a pint of beer for this remedy. Let the beer de-carbonate overnight. While taking shower, pour the flat beer onto the hair slowly and massage gently. Then rinse with cold water. It also cleanses the scalp and keeps the cuticles healthy!

Repeat this method once in two weeks.

Use gentle a shampoo and conditioner

By gentle shampoo, we mean the shampoos that are devoid of harmful chemicals like paraben and sulfate. Watch out these ingredients while you purchase a shampoo! Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and follow up with a hydrating conditioner. Again, please don’t use a rough towel to dry your hair. Use an improved hairdryer instead! This will help you manage frizzy hair.
